Inaugural Swearing-in Ceremony:
All accessible parking spots in the Capitol garage will be available to the public. Visitors may also utilize
the accessible parking spots in the northwest corner of State Parking Lot #1 (next to the judicial center,
shown on the map in blue).
State Lot 2; State Lot 4: 10th Street & Topeka Blvd.
State parking lots #2 and #4 will be open to the public and signs will direct the public on where they can park.
NOTE: All other parking lots will be in active use by state employees, and non-permitted vehicles that park outside of Lots 2 & 4 are subject to the normal rules governing state parking lots, including possible ticketing or towing.

The swearing-in ceremony is open to the public (tickets are not required), but public seating is extremely limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Accessible seating will be available at the Swearing-in ceremony. Please see a volunteer on site, who will direct you.
The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM.
In the case of inclement weather, the swearing-in ceremony will be moved inside. Public seating inside will be extremely limited, and all visitors must enter through the Capitol Visitors Center on the Northside of the Capitol (8th Street).
Please dress for cold weather. Umbrellas are permitted, but ponchos are encouraged.
Ball Ticket Holders: Please enter through main doors of the Kansas Expocentre.
Dessert and Dancing ticket holders: Doors open at 7:30pm.
Entrance: Please enter through Maner Conference Center Entrance off SW 17th street.
